In 1960s London Melville Farr is on the trail to victory. Farr's career and life are nearly idyllic with his clinic winning cases and also a union with his wife. When blackmailers link Farr to a gay man, every thing Farr has worked for is threatened. Farr is just a gay -- that will be problematic, due to the anti-sodomy legislation of Britain as it turns out. But instead of committing, Farr decides to fight.
