Fifteen years after the events of the feature film, Kyle Craig is assigned to go undercover at an elite squad of the LAPD as the trainee report on his off-book methods and to spy on him of Detective Frank Rourke. As Frank starts teaching his principled trainee precisely the method of the roads , they form an uneasy alliance that will alter the course of both their lives .
