Silver Spoons is a classic sitcom which aired on NBC in September 25, 1982 at syndication in September 15, 1986 and to May 1 1, 1986 to March 4, 1987. Embassy Television for its first 4 seasons produced the series, until the string transferred to syndication. Silver Spoons was created Howard Leeds, by Martin Cohan and Ben Starr. The show's name refers to family riches and to the saying that rich children are born with"silver spoons" within their mouths--that they all have been given only the very best and want for nothing.
