Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares stars chef Gordon Ramsay. BAFTA and Emmy-winning show aired on Channel 4 in 2004. In each episode, Ramsay visits a struggling restaurant and fixes it in a week. After a few months, Ramsay returns to the restaurant to check on business. Ramsay revisited restaurants from series one and two in Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares Revisited, which was re-edited with new material. After his four-year contract expired in2011, Ramsay declared he wouldn't continue Kitchen Nightmares. As part of 'The Great British Food Fight,' Channel 4 showed Ramsay's Great British Nightmare on 30 January 2009. Ramsay urged people to patronize local restaurants during a recession.
