Lola, is a 1961 film, the debut film directed by Jacques Demy like a tribute to director Max Ophüls and can be described as Demy as a"musical without music". Anouk Aimée starred in the title character. Demy's widow, French film maker Agnès Varda revived and re-released the movie.
