Ann's fantasy of finding true love has overtaken her. She is friend-zoned just when she believes she's discovered it. Rejection drives her on an obsessive downward spiral that puts her sanity and her closest friendship to the test. She confronts her overgrown fantasies by making a film about the experience in order to reclaim her bearings on reality.
