Overview:
At a more innocent America, at the close of the 1950s, the moot slaying of a family horrified the nation. This picture is based on Truman Capote detailed, nonfiction book that was emotionally penetrating. While in prison, Dick Hickock, 20, hears the narrative about $10,000 in cash of a cell-mate kept by a rancher at a house safe. Excon Perry Smith to join him is persuaded by Dick, when he's paroled. On a November night in 1959, Perry and Dick split into Herb Clutter's Holcomb home. At finding no safe, enraged, they kill them all and cruelly wake the sleeping relatives. Just 2 friends who come by before Sunday church find the bodies. The murders shock the Great Plains town, where doors are left unlocked. Detective Alvin Dewey of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation heads the instance, however there are no indications, no apparent motive and no guesses...
