The 2nd chapter of the epic brings back the entire universe of tooth less and Hiccup five decades later. While Astrid, Snotlout and the rest of the gang have been challenging each other to drag on races (the island's new preferred contact sport), the currently inseparable pair travel through the skies, charting unmapped territories and investigating new worlds. When one of the adventures leads to the discovery of a covert ice storm which is home to hundreds of rampant dragons and also the cryptic Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a struggle to safeguard the calmness.
