The Elric brothers try to track him down, after a prisoner with just several weeks left on his sentence breaks out of prison in Central City. The search leads them to Table City in the country of Creta, where Alphonse adopts a young alchemist named Julia from the man they're attempting to capture. In the thick of the fight, they tumble Milos Valley's slums, into Julia's home turf, and also are embroiled in its own people's grassroots rebellion.
