2021-Five years after an unknown virus transformed humanity into vicious, undead animals, a large portion of the world's population has been wiped out. When governments proved unable of containing the plague, the Contagion Special Unit was founded with the fiercest soldiers and greatest specialists to combat the sick. As the number of soldiers continues to dwindle, a popular online video game Dead Trigger was created to reflect the frightening occurrences. The CSU, which recruits the highest-rated zombie killers, keeps an eye on gamers' greatest efforts. The newcomers are dubbed "Dead Triggers." The film chronicles the journey of a group of young recruits to the outbreak's epicenter in order to locate a lost team of scientists hunting for a cure.
