Chinese Entertainment Shanghai Ltd. is the company responsible for producing the television show Chinese Paladin, which airs in China. In January of 2005, it was initially shown on Taiwanese television station CTV, followed by mainland China's CBG. The tabletop role-playing game (RPG) The Legend of Sword and Fairy served as inspiration for the television series. 2009 saw the release of its successor, Chinese Paladin 3, which succeeded it. Cast members hailing from China, Hong Kong, and Singapore are all included in the series.
