Steve is a talented gymnast who is working at the bike shop of his father and has quit competition. Julie is the new girl at his old gymnasium, who's proceeded to town to train with their coach that is powerful. Inspired by Julie, instruction is resumed by Steve. They prepare to the US Olympic Trials while addressing the conflicts within their lives and also the stress of training.
